Mih\u00e1ly Schwechtje is a Hungarian film and theater director and<\/p>\n\n\n\n

university lecturer who has made several award-winning short films<\/p>\n\n\n\n

before making his first feature film. In 2020 he was awarded the<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Contemporary Hungarian Drama Award (Kort\u00e1rs Magyar Dr\u00e1ma-d\u00edj).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his recent projects, he is especially interested in our current society\u2019s<\/p>\n\n\n\n

problems. His first feature film, Hope You\u2019ll Die Next Time \u263a, talks about<\/p>\n\n\n\n

the young victims of cyberbullying. The film was professionally and<\/p>\n\n\n\n

critically acclaimed and amassed great audience success. He is a<\/p>\n\n\n\n

university lecturer at the University of Theatre and Film Arts in Budapest,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

having obtained a degree of Doctor of Liberal Arts. He is currently working<\/p>\n\n\n\n

on the development of his second feature film and working on the<\/p>\n\n\n\n

pre-production of his next documentary, alongside starting the rehearsals<\/p>\n\n\n\n

for his new theater play at Radn\u00f3ti Theater.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
