On the 27th of May 2022, the National Film Institute held its annual Incubator Pitch Forum, where 10 talented directors had the opportunity to present their debut film project to a jury of experts. Four projects are selected by the jury and one by the audience, and these five projects are eligible for funding up to 265,000 Euros.

Olivér Rudolf’s project, My Mother, the Monster was among the five selected projects which earned the opportunity to apply for funding. My Mother, the Monster is the story of a woman who is fed up with the compromises she made by becoming a mother and giving up her dreams. To flee from the feeling of insignificance, she decides to rebel and live her life in a monster mask from now on.
